CNN reports that George Will, the prominent Conservative columnist and Republican opinion-leader, announced Friday, to the Federal Society, that he has left the Republican Party over Trump. He’s quoted as describing himself as an “unaffiliated” voter in Maryland.

He hasn’t yet said he’ll vote Libertarian. (He has to walk before he can run.)

Then, Trump attacked Will on Twitter, writing: “George Will, one of the most overrated political pundits (who lost his way long ago), has left the Republican Party. He’s made many bad calls.”
Will responded: “He has an advantage on me, because he can say everything he knows about any subject in 140 characters and I can’t.”
