Buran’s Proposal For a Better New York

Runaway spending must be curtailed and our legislators can not rely on tax hikes, surcharges or fees to balance an inflated budget.

That’s how State Assembly (District 72) candidate Bill Buran starts his Proposal for a Better New York.  New York State faces a budget deficit projected at $1.2 billion.

Buran’s proposals include, among other things:

  • A supermajority requirment to increase taxes
  • Changing State pensions to a defined contribution plan
  • School choice, merit pay for teachers and removing the worst performing teachers

Bill Buran is among the very few candidates that defend the taxpayer against the onslaught of pickpockets in Albany and Washington.  He deserves our support.  You can learn more about him and contribute to his campaign at www.BillBuran.com.
