NYPD Seeks Technology to Disrupt Wireless Communications

In testimony yesterday before the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly revealed that the NYPD is seeking technology that can disrupt cell phone and other wireless communications in the event of a crisis.

Kelly also said that in the event of a terrorist attack, the media can pose a threat by revealing police tactics.

So really, all we need to do is repeal the First Amendment, and we’ll all be much safer.
