Americans for Fair Taxation
Our guest speaker will be Adam Yomtov, NYS Director of Americans for Fair
Taxation (www.fairtax.org) and the National Retail Sales Tax Alliance
(www.salestax.org). The FairTax is a proposal for a single-rate, federal
retail sales tax on new goods and services. It replaces federal income
taxes including personal, estate, gift, capital gains, alternative
minimum, Social Security, Medicare, self-employment, and corporate taxes.
Is the FairTax fair? Is it libertarian? Let the debate begin.
